Because the K-9 III uses dual motors, it requires two mufflers and two Heavy Duty Filters to properly reduce sound output.

By installing each muffler inside a Heavy Duty Filter, groomers can noticeably lower the sound levels produced by high-velocity dryers. This helps create a more comfortable grooming environment for both pets and staff. The system is especially helpful in busy salons, mobile grooming vans, and enclosed workspaces where managing dryer noise can make a meaningful difference.

Professional Noise Reduction

When installed correctly, the muffler and HDF system can reduce dryer noise by up to 13 decibels. This reduction helps lower stress for noise-sensitive pets while also creating a more comfortable daily working environment for groomers.
